What it changes

Todo adds project-scoped follow-up tracking for work, personal goals, or other durable commitments. Use it when an agent needs to recover the next action and completion evidence across sessions—not for ephemeral chat checklists.

Install

Select Todo during empirical install, or install it explicitly.

empirical plugin install all --todo

Real-life example and limits

A useful task records the project, status, priority, due date, next action, and completion evidence—for example: Docs audit — in progress — next: remove unsupported integration pages. Todos use category=project and nodeType=goal; this is not a separate task database or a replacement for GitHub Issues.

Optional: Skip this plugin when project tracking already lives reliably in another system.
