Claude Desktop integration.

Use CLI install or manual MCP config to connect Claude Desktop with Empirical hosted endpoint.

Connection path

Install the CLI first. The installer handles local config mutation and auth kickoff.

npm install -g @empirical-gauzza/cli

Manual config

If needed, configure Empirical MCP URL and OAuth endpoints directly in Claude Desktop MCP settings.

Support boundary: Claude Desktop uses MCP. The ChatGPT app flow is separate, and credentials should be supplied through OAuth rather than committed configuration.

Verify tools

Ask Claude Desktop to query one known preference, then record a deliberately non-sensitive test memory and confirm both operations complete.
